ITIL4 FOUNDATION TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

The ITIL 4 Foundation syllabus is the first of the new ITIL 4 modules to be released by AXELOS. It offers a more holistic perspective of ITSM compared to ITIL V3, as well as several new tools and concepts.

The purpose of the 2 Days ITIL Foundation Qualification is to introduce candidates to the management of modern IT-enabled services, to provide them with an understanding of the common language and key concepts, and to show them how they can improve their work and the work of their organization with ITIL 4 guidance. Furthermore, the qualification will provide the candidate with an understanding of the ITIL 4 service management framework and how it has evolved to adopt modern technologies and ways of working.

The course consists of 7 Chapters:

  • Chapter 1: An Introduction to the ITIL 4 Framework (case study)
  • Chapter 2: The key Concepts of Service Management
  • Chapter 3: The Guiding Principles
  • Chapter 4: The Four Dimensions of Service Management
  • Chapter 5: Service Value System
  • Chapter 6: The Service Value Chain
  • Chapter 7: Purpose and Key Terms
  • Chapter 8: Understanding the 7 ITIL Practices

Certification exam:

  • There is a closed-book, multiple-choice exam with 40 questions and a duration of 60

minutes. The pass mark is 65% (26 questions out of 40).

  • Paper based examination
  • Exam will be conducted on the second day after the completion of the course.
  • Results will be declared within 4 working days.
